I get Low.
Wow it’s been long. Made a new blog but for some reason I “do not have permission to do that” when I post. Anyone know wtd ?
I had this long text summarizing a shit ton of things that happened and that are happening prepared but for some reason I can’t find it. So, instead, I’ll just do a quick visual brief on that, mostly RBMA Culture Clash.
Also, big...

Some in between shots from Cambodia for now, looks like it’ll be another month till I can process all of these images not to mention video. If you’re interested in weird music/ just weird stuff then you can follow my Spanish adventures with my buddy Dan on...

Back in Singapore now. Super behind with everything; photos, videos, some sound field recordings. Wish I could back to Cambodia where the heat doesn’t bother me anymore and the daily routines aren’t daily at all. Would like to thank everyone in Kampuchea, beginning with folks that saved me from dying in a hotel bedroom from food poisoning, experiencing sketch nights in Phnom Penh and...

Sesame Fields Forever.
For the past week I’ve slept in different beds everyday, in different places and been missioning across Cambodia like crazy. After recovering from my food poisoning episode I travelled up north with Mu Sochua. Land grabbing was the case this time as many farmers in the province had been victims of unjust and illegal actions taken by “authorities”.
Six AM breakfast in Phnom Penh...

Prey Lang Anti-deforestation Protest.
Fell behind uploading photos since I was knocked out by food poisoning for the past week. It all started last Wednesday, May 25th, after covering a anti-deforestation protest held at Freedom Park in Phnom Penh…
(Find out more about Prey Lang here)
The plan was to shoot the protest till noon and then catch a bus go Battambang where I’d meet Mu Sochua to join...

Not really, it’s still stupid cold in Toronto. I don’t get why people chose this place of settlement, everythings far, everythings cold. A couple of more weeks and we’ll be alright. Got some interesting events, and more importantly- shoots! lined up. Let’s just hope zee academia won’t get in the way.
Looking forward to flip flops, tank tops and other concepts of...

Untitled #1
I’ve been using Twitter for the past couple of months. It’s actually quite simple, based on the idea of posting “tweets”, users are able to express thoughts (such as “Damn, what a fine morning”), share photos ( eg. of the window you are looking at during that fine morning”), share music (Youtube links etc) and communicate directly to other users. All of...

Satruday, November 27th a milestone in...
Saturday, November 27th marked a milestone in Afghanistan - after that day passed, the United States and its allies have now been in Afghanistan longer than the Soviet Union had been when it withdrew in 1989. Recent announcements by the U.S. appear to show that it plans to remain at least another four years. In the south, U.S. forces are increasingly encountering abandoned buildings that are...

Phnom Penh stampede victims - please donate.
This week’s Water Festival tragedy in Cambodia has shocked and saddened us all. Our friends at Strey Khmer in Phnom Penh have been part of the relief effort - working without pause, caring for the injured, comforting and reuniting grief-stricken survivors, providing food and shelter. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, please consider helping those whose lives have been forever changed by this...

Walks, talks and more.
So I’ve been meaning to write more on this log, but it’s always busy and sticking with just photos has been the easiest solution to keep some sort of sustainability. Anyways, I’ll try to write more often, at least to the extent where you can find out where the photos where taken. Also, I’d like to officially re-introduce DPmusic- Dan and Phil share MUSIC. Simple project- to...

Movember | DAY 1
“Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for prostate cancer. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of...
